What type of Personal Information is collected?

The Personal Information we collect usually includes an individual's name, address, contact details and other information reasonably required and specific to the service we are providing and which is not otherwise publicly available. In some instances, such as when providing travel insurance, we will need to collect sensitive Personal Information about your health and medical history depending on the type of service provided and we may need to know your credit or debit card details when you purchase services. 

We collect only the Personal Information we need to provide a number of diverse services to our customers and clients via this website. In relation to our travel, automotive and health assistance services, the Personal Information we request allows us to administer claims management. 

The Personal Information allows us to process and issue your policy booking and to send through your policy wording and certificate by fax, post or email.

We may subsequently use the Personal Information to handle any assistance or claim that you, or the person traveling with you, may have. Employers, contractors and agents of Mondial Assistance and other members of the Mondial Assistance Group (further details of which can be found at www.mondial-assistance.com.my/corporate) may be given access to any Personal Information which we collect, but their use shall be limited to performance of their duties in relation to the services provided by us.

We will only disclose Personal Information in order to fulfill our obligations in respect to the provision of services to our customers. Other than what is required by law or is in compliance with a court order or as may, in good faith, be necessary to protect and defend the rights or property of Mondial Assistance Malaysia or otherwise as set out in this Privacy Policy, we will not disclose, share, rent, sell or otherwise trade the Personal Information to any third party without your permission.
